Our first half-term

Alhamdulillah our children have been going to school since September of this year. I was really worried for them thinking whether we are doing the right thing for them. Alhamdulillah they are really enjoying school. Even when they are sick, they don't want to miss school! I used to find excuses not to go to school ;-)  It's their first half term since they started school. So I have been quite excited about this half term. So far we have been having lots of fun learning. I hope to share our adventures through videos and photos inshAllah. I love blogging their activities as it really helps me to keep a record of most of the activities they do on a weekly basis. They also love it. Besides, I would love to hear from you about what you have been up to during the half term. We can always learn from each other. Happy holidays :-) Make the most of these precious days and create sweet memories to cherish forever inshAllah.

Im has been playing with his beloved cars. He has been a fan since he watched Cars film. He still loves the car characters from the films. His favourite is McQueen, Nigel, Francesco, Fillmore ( my favourite too!) and the list goes on :-) Yesterday I caught him doing a video of his cars with my phone. He has figured out my pin so I guess my poor phone is not safe any more :-( You can also see what a monkey my daughter Ay is ;-) She wants to learn gymnastic. InshAllah I hope to get that sorted as soon as I drive! But they are learning wing chung every Wednesdays. I am big fan of karate. Hope they will carry on learning wing chung.

Now some photos of their activities...

Im loves baking and always keen to help me baking cakes and biscuits. And he would like to take part in Great British Bake Off inshAllah. Mum will be very proud :-)
Ay loves make up and little brother Yu is quite happy to follow his sister ;-)

Im says, " Top one is a car with my dad and my little baby brother and me and the bottom one is our home . My mum put up some new smoke! She got it from Asda!"

Eid presents from nana, alhamdulillah ! They love watching the Zaki series.

Everyday after breakfast we are trying to do the Qur'an  study ( Juz amma & surah Al-Fateha) and again just before Maghrib we revise. I hope to carry on the routine inshAllah.

The three kids in their original size :-)

Ay loves helping me in the kitchen. She made meatballs for me while I was doing the gravy for it this Sunday. I must admit, her meatballs were rounder than mine mashAllah. Can't wait to pass all the chores to my kid ;-)

Yu helping me with my shopping :-) Do try to buy the recent NG anniversary issue. One great issue!

Also, we have been avoiding watching TV as much as possible. It's been really amazing how much activities we can do as a family when the TV is not on. Once upon a time, I feared that if I reduce their TV time, they will complain . But alhamdulillah they don't even notice that they haven't watch TV that much. Trust me, you will not miss it. If you really love watching any program, record it and watch it when kids gone to sleep. I do record my favorites, Everybody loves Raymond ( I know, I know it's quite old, but I still love it, one great family comedy), Casualty, Great British Bake off etc. Now some good images to remind us to turn off the TV as much as possible inshAllah.
