Bismillah

Alhamdulillah we have been quite busy. Children are growing so quickly! MashAllah! I am writing this post while Im is hoovering the sitting room :-) He just helped me bake a Oreo cake. We were suppose to make brownies but ended up making a cake. They told me it's delicious. I haven't tasted the cake yet as I am fasting. This is my first fast after the Eid ul Fitr last week, Thursday 8th of August. I hope to do all of the missed fasts and the fasts of Shawwal inshAllah by this month. 

Today, Im put quite a lot of peppermint oil on the stairs :-( The oil is quite hard to find and it's quite expensive too. The whole house smells of peppermint! I hope no mouse comes to our place inshAllah for a long time! 

I have been having my driving lessons for a year now. My practical is due next week Friday. I don't think I am ready yet so will postpone inshAllah. I may do my one in October as that's when the nearest date is available. InshAllah I hope I can be ready by that time. 

Im and Ay have been attending Arabic and French lesson for couple of weeks now. They go every Thursday 10 to 2:30. Th takes and drops them home alhamdulillah. She has been really kind to us, mashAllah. They are learning the Arabic and french alphabets as well as writing the alphabets. From next month (Septenmber) both of them will start full time school inshAllah.

I have been to the open day and also had a formal meeting with the headteacher. I have done my istikhara too. I hope it will be beneficial for them bi'idnillah. O Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, protect my children from any harm and enable them to have an excellent upbringing in Islam, ameen! O Allah please give them the understanding of Your Book and the wisdom taught by our beloved prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alaihe wa sallam, ameen!

Our kids are very close to each other. They always play with each other, go our together and socialize together . I hope this strong bond will always be there, bi'idnillah.
